This is a great tincture for calming uterine cramps and other postpartum after pains. Made with love by birthworker Mirjam Heemskerk from Gentle beginnings.
Instructions
Uterine Calming Tincture 5-10 drops in lukewarm water max. 4x per day
Can be used with breastfeeding, but with some luke water so the alcohol damps a bit.
Ingredients/ingrediënten
White Willow Bark and Cramp Bark in 50% vodka (Wilgenbast en Gelderse Roos in 50% vodka)
White Willow Bark contains salicin, which is a chemical similar to aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid). In combination with the herb’s powerful anti-inflammatory plant compounds (called flavonoids), salicin is responsible for the pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects of the herb.
Cramp Bark is used for relieving cramps, including muscle spasms, menstrual cramps, and postpartum after pains.
